Zurvanism teaches that all existence unfolds within Zurvan, The Infinite Time.
This means that events, actions, and outcomes arise within a structured reality.
From this, an important question follows:
If everything unfolds within Time, are human beings responsible for their actions?
Zurvanism does not ground responsibility in absolute free will.
It does not claim that individuals exist outside the structure of reality, making completely independent choices.
Because of this:
Human beings are not guilty in an ultimate, cosmic sense.
There is no eternal condemnation.
There is no inherent moral stain.
However, the absence of guilt does not mean the absence of consequences.
Every action produces effects.
This is not punishment.
It is:
The natural operation of reality.
In Zurvanism, responsibility means:
Being part of the chain of cause and effect.
You are not outside the system.
You are within it.
Your actions:
To act with cruelty, violence, or exploitation is to align with chaos (Ahriman).
This leads to:
To act with clarity and awareness is to align with order (Ohrmazd).
This leads to:
Zurvanism removes false guilt.
But it does not remove reality.
You cannot escape the consequences of action by denying responsibility.
Even without blame:
What you do still matters.
Guilt weakens.
It turns understanding into self attack. It traps individuals in cycles of blame and paralysis.
Zurvanism replaces guilt with clarity:
Zurvanism does not rely on punishment or moral condemnation.
Instead, it affirms:
Reality itself reflects action.
There is no need for eternal judgment.
Consequences are immediate, real, and unavoidable.
You are not guilty.
But your actions are not without effect.
To understand this is to move from confusion to clarity.
And from clarity, to strength.
